AI can help with a repeated task.

But what happens if it is wrong?

The rule is simple:

Know how to undo the mistake before you turn on the task.

Example

You want AI to write customer reply drafts.

That can save time.

But AI should not send the reply by itself.

A person should check the draft first.

If the draft is wrong, the person can fix it or delete it before the customer sees it.

That is easy to undo.

Now imagine AI also sends the reply, closes the support ticket, and changes the customer record.

A small mistake can spread before anyone sees it.

That is harder to undo.

Ask one question

Before you turn on an AI task, ask:

How do I undo this if it is wrong?

Good answers are simple:

  • delete the draft

  • stop the task

  • reopen the ticket

  • restore the old file

  • ask a person to check it first

If you do not know how to undo it, do not turn it on yet.

Your action today

Pick one task you want AI to help with.

Write one sentence:

If AI gets this wrong, I will undo it by __________.

What task are you testing? Reply with the task and how you would undo it. Leave out private details.
